The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is the premier T20 cricket league in Pakistan, and it has grown in popularity and renowned in recent years. One of the key factors behind the league's success is the generous prize money that is awarded to teams and players.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the prize money for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 8. Winning a supernova trophy as well as the winner team will get a check of Rs 120 million (Rs. 12 crore). Meanwhile, Runners will get your prize money Rs. 48 million (Rs. 8 crore).

The prize money for the PSL is divided into several categories, including awards for the winning team, the runner-up, and the player of the tournament. In the latest season, the winning team received a cash prize of PKR 80 million, while the runner-up received PKR 32 million.

In addition to the team prizes, individual awards are also handed out for outstanding performances in categories such as best batsman, best bowler, and emerging player of the tournament. These awards carry cash prizes ranging from PKR 1 million to PKR 2 million.

The tournament featured six teams, including Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Quetta Gladiators, and Peshawar Zalmi. Here is a rundown of the previous PSL team tournament wins in each year:

2016: The first season of the PSL was won by Islamabad United. The team, led by Misbah-ul-Haq, defeated Quetta Gladiators in the final to claim the championship.

2017: The second season saw the emergence of the Peshawar Zalmi as the champion team, who defeated the Quetta Gladiators in the final.

2018: Islamabad United made a successful return to the top, winning their second PSL title by defeating the Peshawar Zalmi in the final.

2019: Quetta Gladiators won their first PSL title, defeating the Peshawar Zalmi in the final.

2020: The fifth season saw the Karachi Kings claim their first PSL title, defeating the Lahore Qalandars in the final.

2021: Multan Sultans won their first PSL title, defeating the Peshawar Zalmi in the final.

2022: Lahore Qalandars won their first PSL title, defeating the defending champion Multan Sultans in the final.

Each of these seasons has provided fans with thrilling moments, unforgettable matches, and incredible individual performances.
